The Times writes about "the growing number of 'ordinary people'" speculating in the real estate market. Remember those ads for online brokerages that featured truck drivers managing their multimillions from the cabs of their tractor-trailers?

Real estate won't crash like tech market because it's more difficult to speculate, plus real estate equity means more than expectations of growth....
You're right on both points -- but the real estate market could still lose substantial value. Not total loss or tenfold-plus loss like some tech stocks, but easily half or three times.
i think its time to sell now, bank start loan money without down payment that is a sign attracting moer byers on the market,due to shortage of potential byers, soon will be byers market, home owner before its too late act now!
